Moving Truck Rental
Save the expense of hiring a professional moving service. Our moving truck is perfect for the do-it-yourself mover. (local use only—sorry, no one way rentals). When you rent a storage unit at one of our 6 convenient locations, we will waive our daily truck fee when you move in and the first 15 miles are FREE! (Please remember, you need to return the truck with a full tank of gas. There are additional mileage fees for use over 15 miles.)
- Our 15 foot Box Truck is easy to drive offering automatic transmission and power steering
- Air conditioning and heat keep you cool in summer and warm in winter
- Pull-out cargo ramp makes loading and unloading easy
- Roll-up rear door provides easy access to loading and unloading
- Cargo tie-downs to secure your belongings while you drive
- We also rent Moving Blankets and Hand-Trucks to assist you with your move
A few rules
- The free rental is based on availability.
- The truck is assigned to specific time slot, and the fee is waived for ONE time slot per storage space that you rent.
- The free rental must be used within 14 days of renting your storage space.
- Driver must be 25 years old and a valid driver’s license and insurance card in your name is required.
- A $100 deposit with cash or credit card is required.
- Our truck is for local use only within a 15 mile radius of Oxford.
- Maximum of (1) day/ 8 hours of truck use per rental when redeeming “move-in” offer. If you need to rent out truck, we charge $45/day and $.79/mile.
- If you use more than the 15 FREE miles when moving in, additional mileage charges will apply.
Pick Up and Moving Services
We would be happy to connect you with qualified and insured movers. We also can arrange for a local Pick-up Service that will move your items into a storage unit. Ask our managers for details.
After hours and Weekend Support - Our Call Center is available after business hours, weekends and some holidays. Just call 662.238.7878 and they can take payments, text your gate code or unit #, provide unit rental assistance and more.
Tenant Insurance - We insure our buildings; however, we do not insure your contents. Therefore, content insurance is required for all tenants. You can use your own policy; just bring in your declaration page. If you do not have a policy or do not want to use your insurance policy, we have partnered with StorSmart Tenant Insurance. At StorSmart, they will provide you with an easy contents insurance solution with great coverage and affordable prices for your valuables. Contact our office for details.
Payments – we offer a wide variety of payment options and services.
- 24 Hour Kiosks for payments and rentals at our Hwy 6 West, Allison Cove and Mall Drive Locations
- Monthly invoicing, receipts and payment reminders via email
- Texted payment reminders with a link allowing you to make a payment online or place a call to our office to make a payment
- Auto pay via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Bank Draft
- Credit Card payments online via website or your mobile device
- Long term discounts available
Other Business Services
- We offer a Loading Dock at Grand Oaks providing easy access for 18 wheelers and box trucks. There is No charge for Your Extra Closet customers to use our Loading Dock. A $100 Loading Dock fee will be charged to everyone else. All packages must be placed in unit within 24 hours. If not, a $25/day charge will apply.
- Covered RV Parking with Trickle Charge – We offer a trickle charge for your Recreational Vehicles at our Grand Oaks facility. This upgrade allows you to keep your battery charged and ready to go! We have limited number of covered spaces. Please call for availability.
- At our Grand Oaks and Hwy 6 West locations, we will accept your packages from Fed-Ex and UPS. We will hold the package in our office and text you once it arrives. A small fee will apply to non-customers.
